About me

Curiosity, structure,
and purpose.

I’m Surya Deva Sangi, a Senior UI/UX & Product Designer with 5+ years of experience shaping enterprise applications, healthcare and AI experiences, B2B/B2C platforms, dashboards, and marketplaces.

My point of view

I design beyond the screen.

A good interface is the visible part of a much larger system.

I look at the people using a product, the work they need to complete, the information they rely on, the business rules behind each action, and the technical constraints that shape delivery. The goal is not simply to make a screen look good—it is to make the whole experience feel clear and dependable.

Whether the product supports a clinician, warehouse team, service customer, or internal decision-maker, I aim to reduce unnecessary effort and make the next step easier to understand.

“Good products happen when business goals, technology, and human needs come together thoughtfully.”

What I bring

Designing with a wider lens.

From framing the problem to supporting implementation.

⌕

UX strategy & research

Understand user goals, business context, constraints, and workflow friction.

⌘

Information architecture

Organize complex information, roles, navigation, and decision paths.

▤

Product & interface design

Design responsive web and mobile experiences with clear hierarchy and meaningful states.

✳

AI product experiences

Make AI assistance understandable, reviewable, and appropriately controlled by people.

◫

Design systems

Build reusable patterns, components, and consistent interaction behavior.

↗

Delivery & collaboration

Work with stakeholders and developers to move designs toward implementation.

Mentoring & collaboration

Helping people grow alongside the work.

I’ve worked with a six-person design team comprising four UI/UX designers and two graphic designers. I mentored two junior UI/UX designers and one graphic designer who started as freshers and later progressed to handling client work directly.

For me, leadership is about sharing context, creating space for people to learn, and helping a team deliver better work together.

Working principles
01

Ask before assuming

Clarify the problem and rules before drawing the solution.

02

Make complexity visible

Use flows and architecture to align people on how the product works.

03

Design for reality

Account for deadlines, existing systems, devices, and implementation effort.

Let’s solve something
worth solving.

I’m interested in enterprise SaaS, AI, healthcare, data-rich products, marketplaces, and design systems.
